I ordered the Grizzly catalog thinking it would help me sort through tool options, but it left me more confused than when I started. There’s a lot in there, which is nice, but the pages feel packed and I didn’t find enough clear details to actually compare one item against another.
If you’re trying to decide what to buy, I’d say use the catalog more like a starting point than a real buying guide. I kept having to go back online to check basic specs and reviews, so if anyone in the shop is relying on the catalog alone, I’d definitely recommend double-checking everything before making a decision.
"Ended Up Waiting Because the Stock Info Was Wrong"
In the end, I didn’t get what I needed on time. I ordered it because the site said it was in stock, but then I got an email later saying it was actually backordered. Frustrating since I was counting on it arriving quickly. I really wish the inventory info on the site was more accurate.

"Good product, messy delivery"
Ordered from grizzly.com and the product itself was totally fine. No complaints there. Solid. But the delivery side was kind of a headache. I got different info about when it was supposed to arrive, then the freight company called with a time that didn’t match what Grizzly had sent me. Confusing. I ended up having to rearrange my schedule twice, which was frustrating. Customer service was polite, but it felt like nobody really had a clear answer on what was happening. it wasn’t the worst experience ever, but for a bigger order, I expected the coordination to be a lot better.

I ordered it thinking it was in stock, then later found out it was actually on backorder. Maybe I missed it, but the site didn’t make that clear enough before I checked out. I was kinda just waiting around without much updates, which was annoying since I was trying to plan a project around it. They really should show the backorder status better

"Shipping was way too slow"
I ordered from grizzly.com thinking it would ship out in a few days, but it basically just sat there. No real updates, no clear timeline, nothing. The tracking took forever to show up, and when I reached out to customer service, all I really got was “it’s processing.” It was just waiting and waiting.
By the time it finally showed up, I didn’t even need it for the job anymore, which was really frustrating. The product itself might be totally fine, but the shipping was just too slow, too slow. I don’t think I’d order from them again after that...

"Wrong order and no real follow-up"
I ordered a couple of parts from grizzly.com, and when the package showed up, it wasn’t what I had picked out. One part was the wrong size, and another item was missing completely, so I basically couldn’t use the order for what I needed.
Customer service did respond at first, but it took way too much back and forth just to explain something simple. After that, there wasn’t really any follow-up, which made it even more frustrating. I don’t mind waiting for parts if the order is right, but this felt sloppy and annoying...

"Website made shopping harder than it needed to be"
I tried shopping on Grizzly it was frustrating. The pages were loading slowly for me, the filters felt kind of clunky, and I kept having to go back and double-check things because the site just wasn’t very clear. The search results didn’t really help me narrow down what I needed either. Maybe the products themselves are great, but it’s not even about that, the website just makes the whole ordering process feel way more difficult than it should

"I bought a Grizzly machine thinking..."
I bought a Grizzly machine thinking it would be easy to get parts down the road, but that has not been the case at all. The part I need has been out of stock for weeks, and the website just says backorder with no real date or update.
I did call customer service, and they were polite, but they pretty much had no answer for when it would be available. So now the machine is just sitting there useless, which is frustrating. I would not buy again

"Something Felt Off, So I Didn’t Order"
I was looking at a few items, but I couldn’t easily find clear safety or compliance info. Maybe it’s buried somewhere on the site, but I feel like basic stuff like that should be easy to check before buying. My gut just didn’t feel right about placing the order, so I backed out.

"Sorta disappointed with this sander"
I bought a Grizzly belt sander from grizzly it’s been sorta disappointing. It just doesn’t seem to keep its speed very well, and the motor bogs down even on light passes. The belt also tracks a little weird, and the whole thing got hot faster than I expected. I was hoping for better from Grizzly, so this wasn’t really what I had in mind.

The prices feel high for what you get. I guess it’s fine if you really need it or don’t mind spending extra, but I can’t say I felt like it was totally worth the money.

"Decent for the Price, But Needed Some Tweaking"
I’d say it’s okay for what you pay. I was hoping the quality would be a little better, especially because it reminded me of something my brother had that felt a bit sturdier right out of the box. Some parts felt solid enough, but a few areas were rough and needed adjusting before everything worked properly. It’s fine now, but it took more fiddling than I really wanted. Overall, not bad, but not something I’d call amazing either.

"Okay showroom, but the verification got annoying"
I visited the showroom and it was alright overall. The staff were decent, though they didn’t really offer much help unless I asked. A few of the machines looked a bit dusty, which didn’t give the best impression. The prices seemed okay, nothing too surprising. The most annoying part was having to go through verification more than once, it felt unnecessary and kind of slowed everything down

"Sales guy was clueless"
I called grizzly.com with a couple of basic questions before buying a machine, and the sales guy came off like a total clueless rookie. He kept putting me on hold, then came back with answers that didn’t even seem to line up with the specs on the website. By the end of the call, I was more confused than when I started. The tools might be fine, but the sales help I got was seriously underwhelming.

I tried to return this, and the whole process dragged on forever. When I reached out about the warranty, I kept getting passed from one person to another with no clear answer. At some point it felt like nobody wanted to take responsibility, and I had to keep escalating just to get anyone to actually help.

Maybe it’s just me, but I ordered from grizzly.com because the specs looked like they’d work perfectly for my setup. When it arrived, though, some of the measurements and features didn’t line up with what was listed on the site, which kind of threw off my plans. I reached out to support, but they mostly just directed me back to the product page, which wasn’t really helpful since that was the issue in the first place. Frustrating when you’re buying based on the details provided. 1 star from me

Trying to set this up was frustrating. The instructions were all over the place and made a simple process feel unnecessarily complicated. I had to reread a few steps just to figure out what they were trying to say.

"Felt Like Just Another Ticket Number"
The box showed up beat up, and there was barely any padding inside. The part had scratches on it and one corner was bent, which was really frustrating considering what I paid. I expected better packing from grizzly.com. Dealing with this right out of the box was annoying, and the whole thing kind of made me feel like just another ticket number instead of an actual customer...
